spun bearing on dohc zc, couple questions
hey guys i spun a bearing on my dohc zc motor due to lack of oil and taking it to redline, i have a few questions as i have never replaced these before.
the mains are fine, now when i took off the lower part of the rod, the bearing wasnt even attached to it, i could just spin both of them around in a circle on the crank journal, all 3 rods did that except one, i am assuming all 3 rod bearings will need to be replaced...? also does anyone know what bearings can be used in the zc i am am worng they are the d16a6 right? also i need the torque specs for the rods and crank carriage. thanks

I hope you don't think that all you need to do is remove these rod bearings & just replace with new ones
also did you check crank for damage?
also did you check crank for damage?

if you "spun" a bearing, usually you need ot have the rods machined and the crank polished or its going to happen again

Well you might think about checking you pistons also, if your rod bearings are all fucked up! Cuz not having enouph oil in a car usually will expletive up your piston rings 1st!
