hi my name is steven i got a bone stock 95 cx i swapped my friends ls vtec its bone stock into my cx its starts and runs but at full throttle its putters out and wont let me keep going and at stand still when i rev it pushing the gas pedal a bit hard its putters this is between 3-4k rpm ecu is a p-75 with vtec chip this is how we got it.it ran perfect in my friends car I've searched tons and tons but no answer any help will be good thanks in advance

 

it may be a fuel issue being that you have a bone stock cx.. im assuming your running a stock feul pump.. so its either not enough fuel travel or maybe it could be a distribution issue.. my car did the same thing and i upgraded feul and changed the distributor and it worked fine.. another thing you can try is to check the connection of the wire on your vtec solenoid.. that and clean out the filter and check your oil pressure... hope it helps..

 

Yeah that's what we started to think we got a new distributor and going to be upgrading fuel so hopefully all goes well..................thanks for the advice
