question
so there is a coolant pump( i belive thats what it is) under the intake mani's (ps its a b18b if that makes a diffrence) and there are 3 soft hoses that run off of it and one hard one that runs under the mani and i took off all of the hoses and there is one that is a part of the whole thing but the one just to the right (or left depending on how you look at it) and the is the seccon one just pressed in there? like is it its own seperate part or woudl i have to buy a whole new pump. the one on mine is like corroded out and so it was leaking which is how i noticed that somthing was wrong. and i pulled that corroded piece off and i think that you just press it in there or something but some one should let me know

THERES A COOOLANT BYPASS TUBE THAT RUNS BETWEEN THE THERMOSTAT HOUSING AND THE WATER PUMP. IT IE HELD IN BETWEEN THE TWO BY PRESSURE AND TWO O-RINGS. IF THE TUBE RUSTED OUT JUST UNBOLT THE THERMOSTAT HOUSING PULL IT AWAY FROM THE BLOCK AND THEN PULL THE TUBE. UNHOOK ALL YOU HOSES AND THEN PULL IT AWAY FROM THE WATER PUMP. PUT THE NEW TUBE IN WITH NEW O-RING AND PUT IT ALL BACK IN REVERSE ORDER. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE ALL THE O-RING AND THERMOSTAT HOUSING GASKET BEFORE STARTING.
