car dies out when clutch is in?
hi peoples well its me again, i did the auto to manual conversion, and i overide the clutch safety, so now when the car turns on and you put the clutch in the car automaticaly dies out what could be the problem, need some help, please!!!
yeah i took off the tcu, and put the shifter indicator to P but i was like nah ill just unplug it so the P light is not on the gauge cluster, could that be it, do i have to splice those wires trick it that its in park and therefore not dieying out?

It starts & runs, right? Then dies when you press in the clutch pedal? If so, then it's not the neutral safety switch.
If it dies when you press the clutch pedal, you might have to think about the thrust load that the clutch puts on the flywheel. Does the crank move when you press the pedal down? Check the crank pulley for whether it moves outward when you press the clutch pedal.

yes it starts and runs, yes it dies out when the clutch pedal is pressed in, i have not checked if the if the crank moves when the pedal is pressed, i will check dude, and thanks for the help, here are some more symptoms that the car has, when you put the clutch pedal in the check engine and the rest of the the warning lights blink everytime that the pedal is touched or pressed in? i will take a video of it so you can see for yourselfs.
The warning lights blinking makes me think about electrical stuff rather than crank thrust loads. Still, check out the crank just in case. (You'll probably want this to be an electrical problem rather than crank/mainbearing issues.)
The auto-tranny car had a circuit which interlocked the starter unless the gearshift was in P or N. You said you handled that, but I'd double-check what you did with that.
The corresponding circuit in a manual-tranny car works off a switch on the clutch pedal. THAT switch goes pretty much when you first move the pedal. OTOH, crank thrust problems happen after the clutch pedal is pressed substantially down.
So... do the problems happen when you first begin moving the clutch pedal, or not until it's halfway down or more?

okay the wire to the auto shift i spliced together and the P shows on the cluster, but the problem is when the clutch pedal is pressed the car automaticaly dies out it sputters out and that's it, give me some time to make the video so you can see first hand what the problem is.
