Dirt or Street...cant decide which to go back too!
I sold my R6 at the start of the summer to turbocharge my Integra. Well, Ive sold the Integra, and Im trying to decide what to do now. I really need some peoples educated opinions right now. Relavent info:
- Used to race Motocross, still have alot of friends who ride.
- 30, 000kms of Street riding under my belt on my 99 and 03 R6's
- On a list to get on a Fire dept right now, need to stay somewhat healthy
- Im in good shape, cycle alot and I love training for Motocross.
- Plan on racing if I get another dirtbike
- Blew my knee out 2 years ago, its heald up but will never be the same
- Ankle is 90% from a snowboarding accident last winter
- Still have friends riding on the street as well
- Money isnt much of an issue, but I would prefer the cheaper of the two
- Buying a new bike, lower operating costs the better
- Id like to get the most use out of whatever I buy
Sorry if this inst very clear, but its been driving me insane over the past few days and I cant decide. Any help would be appreciated! Cheers.

I just love riding in general. Im looking for the rush/fun/adrenaline/and zen like feeling I get from riding. Supermoto's are cool, but Id prefer just to have a dedicated dirt or street bike.
As far as a streetbike goes, I miss going out and carving some on/off ramps/cruising/riding almost everyday as long as the weather is good. Dirtbike wise, I miss the adrenaline of racing MX, railing berms and all the technical stuff related to it. I wont be upset either way I go, I just cant make up my mind. Both are too much damn fun!

As a wise man once said, you gotta keep 'em separated.
One bike for SuMo and MX is cheap, but the hassle involved with switching out is not worth it. I say go for MXing for now. We can't all race forever, and at least you can look back and say, 'Hell yeah, I did THAT."
Just make sure to take care of that knee after practices/races. We only get two of them. Just like our livers.

If I could only have one bike, I'd have to keep my MX bike. I haven't come across anything other than skydiving that comes close to the "rush/fun/adrenaline/and zen like feeling" MX racing gives me.
