Default Hooking up vtec this sat. one quick question

I have a 95 gsr motor in 93 hatch and i have to get this check engine light off and the vtec hooked up. I glanced over the how to's but i had one question. Some people i know are saying i may have to splice some wires. If i'm using a gsr wiring harness shouldnt the only thing i have to do i run the wires on the strut tower plug through the connectors and through the firewall. The original engine harness is missing the vtec wires so i thought all i had to do was put wires were there werent any.

yea your on the right track... i had the same issue fora bit but it gets sorted out quick.. just be sure to do it as nicely as possible.. if you could re-pin the harness it would be great.. just for the sake of a clean job...
