i'm removing the ls vtec from my OBD0 crx and installing it in my 99 ek.

i have all the necessary items, p28/harness, mounts, blah blah blah


However i was wondering, if i had to buy a new starter and alternator since it has to go into an OBD2b platform.

i searched for the words "starter" & "alternator" and came up short..

can any one direct me in the right direction?

A starter is a starter the same thing as far as the alternator goes as long as they bolt up it shouldn't make any difference

 

I think the alternator takes a different plug, although you might be able use the old odb0 plug and adapt it to the new platform
