Default which clutch kit to use for my mildly built gsr turbo???

aight im in the process of building my gsr block with eagle crank, rods and arias pistons (currently in the shop awaiting for assembly) and a drag turbo kit...i have a ACT organic clutch kit and i kno that will probably not hold up...i also have an exedy stage 2 3 puck cerametallic kit...which one will work better with my setup? can i just buy a ACT 6 puck sprung disc and use with my heavy duty pressure plate? or can i get a new 3 puck sprung cerametallic disc and use it with my slightly used exedy pressure plate? any comments or experiences with these clutch kits will greatly be appreciated. Thanks

I have the Exedy 3 puck. Granted I am mostly stock. I have seen the Exedy hold 400whp pretty regularly though. No experience with the ACT.

I'm running the ACT HDSS. Holds the power very well. The clutch is a little stiffer than stock, but engages very smoothly.

The disk does not determine the pressure on the clutch pedal. Its in the pressure plate. If you are going to use a used pressure plate take it to a place the specialize in clutches so they can test the fly wheel. Also the need to measure it for wear and warpage. This is from the owner of clutchspecialties. Any other shop is going to tell you the same.

ive had the act 6-puc for my NA gsr, it was over kill and wasnt very fun for daily driving, plus the clutch wore out pretty quick too

go for the strongest full face disc you can find the act full face I have now grabs hard and is nice and easy to drive everyday

centerforce stage 1 carbon kevlar disc at 10psi holds fine clutchmasters sales rep stated it should hold 300ft lbs torque and my pedal pressure is less than stock i dont think you need anything extreme for the street since hondas arent into making tons of torque anyways.... but i dont know your expectations
