Default Turbo ZC "kit"

Alright, I would like to turbo a ZC in my 88 crx si. Is there any kit I can buy that will fit right in or with a few mods. Also, should I have to go to a half rad. for the fmic? any help would be great! I dont feel like buying each piece one at a time. Just want to throw the lump sum down and get it over with. would like to make anywhere from 200-225hp with a good tune and exhaust and other little things here and there. thanks guys!!

First of all what kind of zc?

About the half rad it depends on the manifold and other things.

Depending on what turbine you get and how much psi you might be able to do 200.

DOHC ZC. I am also asking what size turbo I would need and other stuff. running about 12 psi, forged rods and pistons with arp headstuds and whatever else ht recomends.

p.s. for the record i did read every damn word of that post all about turbos and such, i am learning as much as i can and did use the search feature. I just dont have anywhere around me that knows civics and stuff so it is hard to learn without you guys. thanks for being patient!!

Got ya and for searching and not being lazy!

if you are building the guts you can do more then 200 WHP and or 12 psi.

for what kind of turbo to use how do you want the car to behave and how much are you willing to spend?

http://www.thezcr.com has a ton of info on ZC stuff you might want to peek over there for some proven combos, as that can really help you learn once you learn the basics, then you can see how exactly the motors like to run.

just tossing a turbine name out a t3 family will probbly work best, for a good daily with some uumph.

the greddy si turbo kit works great but it is set at 5.5 psi stock but you can modify for you 12 psi needs. I have this same kit on my DOHC ZC

P.S. crxrocks posted a great how to on http://www.thezcr.com

Making 200 whp is not very difficult with the ZC. I could sit here and type a page of stuff but I'll skip to the parts.
The turbo I would use would be a T3/T4 50 trim. You will need a half radiator, not because of the FMIC, but because the turbo will most likely hit the radiator. (sidenote-if you use the Greddy 15G turbo for the SOHC Civic then your full radiator will work perfectly fine...but that turbo maxes out a bit early)

If you are really interested in purchasing a kit for the ZC in the 88-91 chassis PM me.
