I have the same problem but it apperars you just need to take off the cam cover and replace the 4 'o' shaped seals. If the cam cover gasket is in poor shape you may need to replace that as well.

It might be leaking from the top down..... Make sure the valve cover is torqued on and evenly torqued. There's those little rubber gaskets that seal the spark plug "shafts" with the valve cover. They could be loose due to the torquing or they could be worn. Or they could be missing if they fell out when the valve cover was last removed...

If it was coming from the cylinders you got other problems (like rings) and you'd probably notice other performance problems... That's all I can think of, maybe someone else has other suggestions.

Go read your friendly, helpful, instructive Haynes manuel. it should have a colored picture page describing what could be wrong if spark plugs have oil on them. Or listen to those other guys they sound right.

You can get the valve cover gasket and grommets (tube seals) from Kragens or Honda for about $15. You can even throw on some Hondabond if you're worried about it leaking. You should fix it because oil on your plugs will cause misfiring.

I had the same problem with my Rex. It's probably the spark plug tower seals, located BELOW the rocker assembly... Either that or it's your headgasket...

Hmm I may be having this problem.
When I take the plug wire out and rub my finger around where the gasket is I get a slight bit of oil on my finger.
Does that mean I definatly need to change them or do they just leak a slight bit?
none is really dripping down on the plugs..
