Water gettin trunk
I have a 2000 acura integra 4 door. When it rains for long periods a little bit of water gets inside my trunk. I brought my car to the dealer they said that taillight seals can be ripped and they quoted me $220.00. Is this something i can fix myself? Would i be able to use some silicone and do it myself because there is no way i am paying 220 dollars to replace tail light seals.

don't pay the dealer, that's ridiculous. If you are remotely competent, then you should be able to do it yourself. Let me see if I can find a thread where the guy had the same problem.

dealerships are the automotive rapists, they have ridiculous prices and reasons for you to fork your credit card or $$ to them. Many times its not even quality work.
...unless you have a german car..bmw, benz...etc but thats a different story. You pay an arm and a leg

look through google,...i assume you can just you clear silicone, just dont put too much on it, but then again, i dont know how you would be able to take the tail lights off the next time you need to change the light bulbs or anything else in that matter
I had the same problem on my integra. I got new taillight gaskets at a junk yard and used the silicone stuff to seal them up. The leak is compleatly fixed and my trunk stays dry. It cost me less than 10 dollars. I definatly would not pay $220 at a dealership. You might be able to get brand new gaskets from the "eStore" at acura.com or maybe you can just get new gaskets from your dealer and install them yourself.
it could also be the dump tubes from the sunroof. thats a common one.
This should help A LOT
