Hey guys, this is my first honda and I'm pretty stoked about it. It's a white 91 dx with not a drop of rust on it! I flew all the way down to florida to get it. Anyways, when I got there I noticed that the seats were from some mid 90's civic and they only bolt to the car in two spots. That's not even safe! I've been searching the site, but I haven't been able to find a definitive thread on what seats will bolt in. I don't want to modify the seats or the body in anyway. Could you guys please point me in the right direction if this topic has already been covered?

 

Guys I could really use some help on this. I've tried the search function, but it's not that good unless I just can't figure it out.

 

91 civic seats will fit it.

 

the seats were finicky in these cars. be glad you don't have an 88 or 89, those are (with a few exceptions) year only.

do you have a hatch or a sedan?

anyway, you need 90 or 91 civic seats, out of either a hatch or a sedan depending on which you have. i believe civic si seats from those years (assuming you have a hatch) will bolt in.

 

i put a set of s2000 seats in my 1991ef hatch and 88 crx hf. i got three of the bolts to line up and used a self tappin screw in the other one place... good luck with you finding seat that fit

Basically the only seats that are interchangable are the Hatch seats from 91. EGs have a wider market of seats that can be swapped with ease...
