i am installing my tach n would like to know where the rpm pickup is to tell the guage wat rpm the engine is at......i no it has to be from the distributor but don't know which wire to connect it to....if anyone can help me that would be cool

 

Open up your distributor cap and look at the coil, look for the - negative side wire and clip it to that wire.

 

wat color would be...would it be black or....wat

 

this what i did with my honda civic i took the guege cluster out and theres 3 screws behind the actual rpm guage and al you need to do is connect the wires to it green black and red and it hink i other 2 wires are for illumination but i didint hook it up.. but it works...
