whats up h-t, my idle acts up everyday. when im fully stopped my needle drops to like 500rpm's and sometimes it feels like the engine wants to shut offand even when i step on my brakes at a light or whatever when im fully stopped the idle drops a lot... i have a b16, anybody has any ideas? by the way the spark plugs are good i've change them and still does the same ****, spark plug cables are good, dist. rotor new, oil is good..any ideas?
do a search for idle problems. there are a number of post on how to fix this problem it is more than likely going to be a clogged screen on the icv near the intake manifold

I'm pretty sure it's on the Throttle Body.

to get at your iacv its better to remove the entire throttle body unless you have a 96-00 civic dx which will be in the intake mani.
with the tb off, the iacv is on the bottom of the tb and held there with 3 bolts. after removing those you can clean that with carb cleaner or something and put it back...it also may need to be adjusted some i forget how to do that but youll have to completely take it apart...well almost by unscrewing the inside.

if it's the jdm one, then it's on the top of the intake manifold, to the right near the fuel pressure regulator.
