Hey I have a couple o fquestions about these cams. Do they idle rough, and what do you have to get on ur engine or mods ... if u get these cams liek port and stuff thnx ~!!

 

Dont own either cam but have driven a Si with JUN3's and it idles like stock besides good valvesprings and ti-retainers you dont need much besides a good tuner and good intake exaust and header to let them breath. To extract the most hp from these cams you do need to up the compression as these cams thrive on it.

i have the toda b's and the idle is not bad around 800rpm.it vibrates slightly but not bad.these cams you listed love higher compression.

 

No offense, but did you do a search? The reason I ask is that I know it will give you answers to your questions quicker than waiting for us to repost things we have posted less than 2 weeks ago. Then you can develop any questions from the information you find...

why don't you just get a set of skunk2 stage 2 cams? they are half the price as the jun 3's and make the same amount of power throughout the entire powerband. all you need with is a set of good springs and retainers. if you want to you can go ahead and get some of the skunk2 higher compression valves to get some added horsepower.

 

Are these flat bottom valves? I wouldn't think the rise in compression would be too great from that alone...
