Default Is the hondata reflash for the 06 si really worth it i like vtec up high ?

I know this reflash puts vtec lower in the rpm range and puts the redline to 8600 rpm i think but do i really need all that is it that much better to have a little more power down low in the rpm range any suggestions are welcome.

It only jumps 30hp in the mid-range if you have a header. You will only gain from the hondata if you have aftermarket parts installed such as a cold air intake, exhaust, and a header especially. A race header and hondata is really what opens this car up.

With the hondata reflash, will it reduce
the high end power or no or what?
Cuz I was thinking that when you pedal
to the metal, wouldn't the rpm go back to
6,000rpm and then when you up shift again,
it goes back to 6,000 rpm where there is
no vtec? Am I wrong? Please let me know.

You gain power EVERYWHERE in the power band with the re-flash --- the more mods the more power gained

Hondata saves the Si

No. Go to Hondata.com, and look at the reflash. You will see.
