HID RETRO FIT TSX PROJECTOR QUESTION. HELP ME
So i got done doing my retro fit with the tsx projectors, and also the color mod with the two washers. My problem is that I dont see that much color at the cut off line. I always see TSX's drive towards me with their lights on and from far away, all I see if blue up until it gets closer. This is also in the bmw headlights. I'm trying to achieve that too, but can't seem to get it. Did I do something wrong?

From what I've read the plastic lenses on Integra headlights take out some of the blue color at the cutoff. I don't know, because I get quite a bit of it still with my Hella bi-xenon projectors.
It might help if you wet sand and polish the lenses really well (I'm talking polish with a random orbital buffer, not just by hand) to reduce any fading, pits, scratches, etc. that could be scattering the light somewhat as it passes through the lens.

ahhh finally some pics of the insides of the aftermarket headlights. I've been wondering what they look like. Any pics of the projector bracket with the original halogen projector on there?

No, I dont have any before pictures. From what I see, it's much easier then retrofitting the stock mounting piece because I didn't have to do that much cutting. I did have a problem with the projectors sticking out too much using the 1 inch aluminum spacers....

It made the projector sit right inside the halo ring, so therefore I couldn't adjust the aiming. What I had to do was just get rid of the halo ring.

those brackets come stock in the aftermarket headlights. they are pretty much the same as the stock brackets. Just a bit easier to modify compared to the stock ones because there's less cutting needed

haha, yeah, you might be right. But those pics are not the final pictures of the install. There were lots of adjustments. If you guys with the DC wanna copy the exact same, then I can guarentee your lights will come out cocked-eye. = ) I saved some info to myself to keep some leaverage.

Wow, i also got the tsx retro with color mod. The color didn't go thru the lens for some reason. Like you stated there not enuff color at the cutoff. Same here with my stock headlamp. I thought the aftermarket might be better because it clear but nvm. Seem like integra don't have color cutoff as nice as when the projector are out.

Well, i'm going to be upgrading to a better wire harness. Hopefully, it makes it brighter.

Highly doubtful. The only thing that changes the brightness of HID bulbs is to change the wattage (and current) drawn by the ballasts.
