I am thinking of buying a B18C1 Block and have a B16A.

If I use the GSR block and B16A head what head gasket do I use and what timing belt. Are they interchangeable or just buy the B18C1 Full Set and it will work with the B16 head?

Also will compression ratio change? I will be using stock internal B18C block with Type r cams and valvetrain.

I have a B16A2 Full gasket set unopened but I am pretty sure the Oil pan gasket is different between the two.

Any knowledgeable info please. Solid info that is proven would be best all else ignored. Would like something within next 48 hours before I seal the deal.

Cool and ITR valves will fit in a b16 head from what I gather, just lighter?

What about oil pan gaskets because I have a moroso oil pan for a b18c1 block. Maybe I will open package and measure. Screw it it's a Honda everything is interchangeable.

the valves from the itr will fit fine as well as the oil pan gasket

parts and gaskets for b-series motors are interchangeable except for a few little parts like the gsr intake manifold and gasket are different from the b16 nd there are a few more but im half awake and dont feel like typing them all down right now
