My battery seems to go after 3 years. Are there longer lasting, better batteries? thx

 

Optima, or Odyssey

I am gettin an odyssey but seems the popular is the optima

 

Both Optima and Odyssey are nice. I run with an Optima.

 

those things are massive.

 

optima if you don't care about weight.

odyssey/hawker if you do.

my hawker genesis is going on 2.5 years or so, never a problem starting, but i live in warm weather so...

 

I have been running an Odyssey PC680 for about a year and a half. It is about 14.5 pounds and has cranked fine in 20˚F to 95˚F no issues. The battery itself is over 4 years old. I got it off a friend that never got around to installing it. Sat on the shelf for a while.

I do not recommend it for driving big Subs in your trunk though. It will not last long without the engine running. Looks like this:

ahh.. you guys forgot stinger..... I've been installing stereo's for quite awhile now and I would have to say they compete with optima.
