Some people on 7thgen have mentioned having to jack up one side of the car to make it fit. Isn't that big of a problem. Nothing compared to what I had to do to get my DC strut bar to fit.

But if you jack up on side of the car to install it, when you undo the tophat bolts on the shock tower KABOOM, it falls out.

That is 7thGen for you.

I had to jack up the driver's side to get it on there. You're only undoing 2 of the nuts, so it doesn't fall out.

It's a nice bar. I'm very happy with it.

Cool. See, I already have a thicker rear sway, so I am hoping this thing will work WONDERS for the front end. it just feels way too sloppy for me right now up front compared to the rear.

Springs and shocks are next!!!

I have heard it causes undue oversteer, so I am going to hold off. If the front strut bar tightens up the front end to my liking, then no, it won't be replaced. Ill just throw some bushings and links in there and call it a day.

But if not, then It will be replaced with the 27mm one from Progress.

i think u heard wrong...having a bigger front swaybar will cause understeer. imo i wouldnt get a bigger front sway unless u get a bigger front rear..but yeah thats how my setup is right now..rear rsx sway and springs/struts...handles fine but the front as u said is a little sloppy...

So which is it, over or under?

neuspeeds are good...i never had to jack up any car to install it...ever car i did (which was a new bar) it required a lil elbow grease...just a lil push and it'll pop right on...and its very stiff

Soft Swaybar on the rear, Hard on the front will cause understeer in a FWD car

Hard swaybar on the rear, Soft on the front will cause oversteer

Basically whichever end you want to grip the road better (Front/back), that's the one that you make softer

basically what i said....harder sway bar means bigger sway bar....bigger front sway means understeer...thats bad however...daily driving, bigger front sway would probably feel more comfortable. imo, id rather oversteer then understeer in any day of my life
and jus to make sure...oversteer is when ur rear swings out..understeer is when ur turning in but heading towards the outside of the turn..jus to make that clear

if you get a larger front sway, it cancels out what the rear sway is doing. plus, like tougemII said, oversteer is SOOO much safer than understeer.

Car manuafcturers build in a certain amount of understeer into cars, because most people who aren't good at driving freak out when the *** end gets loose

yeah that is also why some civics like the 01-02 7th gens come with a huge front sway bar*25.4mm* then from 03+ we come with a nice 15.9mm ..jus like me IMO i think if u had an 01-02, i would focus more on the rear suspension rather then the front..since u have such a big sway bar in the front u wont need to much help with chassis stiffening there. but yeah..neuspeed yaAHHHHHHHHHHHHh
