RSR ex mag axle back bolt directly up?

RSR ex mag axle back bolt directly up?
supposed to be gettin an rsr axle back tomorrow for my 97 hatch, the guy said it would bolt right up to stock piping but im a bit unsure. just wanted to make sure before i go unbolting things...

donut gasket for the rear section does not wanna fit into the rsr. the stock piping is tiny i dont see why it wont fit into 2.5" piping! any ideas?
