thermostat question

thermostat question

i jus pulled my thermostat out and did the test on it to see if it would open i let the water get to boiling hot and it still didnt open but the question is if i put everything back together and drive it to the parts store and back with out the thermostat will it be ok?

Im petty sure it will be ok. Your engine will just stay 'cold'.
Make sure you take it easy also

theres no way in hell i'd drive someplace w/ out my thermostat installed.

Yep and definately don't do this in winter. It will mess things up seriously.
