Yup, There are only a few left. 5-gears low, and 5-gears high. They only made them one year, I am not sure why. But it is a beast compared to bike's now a day's, very heavy, but I drive 11 mile's to work every day, and 11 back, and it is a great cruiser. But then again, I have never driven a goldwing, so I can not compare.
Thank's for the reply, Bry
All highway mile's-cruises best about 75, I have been stupid and gave it a little once in a while, and it has no problem hitting 100, but I am a little older, and not really into the speed. Just a little more comfortable drive.

I assume you will have found this by now, but, for the benefit of others, use Auto Transmission oil for the forks. Use a hand pump for the Air PSI, so as not to 'blow' the seals. 10-14 psi max.
Good luck

DO NOT do that... Use fork oil NOT transmission fluid.

Thanks for your feedback.
Clymer recommend 10W Fork Oil or Dexron Auto Transmission fluid. CB1000 c Manual M325 page 47. I've used ATF before, on other bikes, with no detriment. If you don't agree with their suggestion can you please let us know the reason? Thanks.

Agreed, just changed my forks over to Dexron ATF (82 CB750). Curious what the reasons against are, as that's what's recommended in the Clymer manual.
