GL with the sale.

I would probably pay about 5K for that here in GA.
FWIW: I just purchased my 2003 F4i with 11K miles for 4700. It had been dropped in a parking lot before. Perfect as my starter bike!

No offense, but I don't think you'll get too much response from this crowd with that price. Not trying to crap on your thread, but he should probably bring the price down.
My friend bought an '01 F4i, red/white w/ 9800 miles for $4900. That was with a helmet and jacket. And Utah's prices are about the same, if not higher, than Cali.
Good luck with the sale, though.

no offense taken, thanks for the input. i've talked to him about it, but hes not in any hurry to sell it, which is kinda ok with me cuz i want to buy it from him next spring
i know lots of people have found better prices, but honestly, i've never seen a used f4i in this condition, its rediculous. and personally, i'd gladly pay a couple hundred more for a pristine bike, rather than save some money and get something abused.

Either that or desperate. Any F4i in decent condition for less than $4000 is a steal.

I'd pay extra as well, but the problem with 5000+ for an F4i is that you're venturing into the RR price range, and most people in the market for a honda sportbike would rather have the rr. As someone who bought a somewhat beat up f4i for 3000, if it was in pretty good condition i would have paid mid 4's max for one. add a couple hundred for extra special condition and it's about 4800 max.
but it's a really nice bike. good luck w/ the sale.
