what psi to balance slicks with?

Default what psi to balance slicks with?

i just received my m&h 23x8x13 slicks and i was wondering if you guys are balanceing the tire at the psi youd run at the track, or say 35 p.s.i. like i would on a regular tire. maybe it doesnt make a difference, but i figured id check what you guys have done. thanks

i did my balance at 23 psi since you'll be looking at 20 and under psi at the strip

I never balance mine...don't really need to. Slicks don't have any sidewall strenght when you drop the PSI. It will vibrate all the way down the track. As soon as you do a burn out with the low PSI the slicks tend to slip a little off the rim, throwing off your balance.

good point. i never thought about that. i just figured less vibration might improve my mph in the 1/4.
