Car dont idle right!!!
According to the helms manual, by unplugging the IAC valve, the rpms are supposed to drop to around 500 or so, and when I unplugged it, and adjusted the screw, the lowest it would go is 900!!
So my car idles around 1100 and thats not good, so I gotta fix it?
I checked the PCV hose and it didnt make a clicking sound, could that cause bad idle?
BTW - I changed my valve cover gasket and spark plug seals last night when I adjusted my valved, I was wondering where the oil was leaking from and you guys helped out alot, thanks.

Well I changed the PCV valve and it still doesnt idle right, the helms manual says when you unplug the IAC it is supposed to drop to around 500 and it wont go anything lower than 900 with the screw all the way down!
Changing that thing was a MPITA!!! I had to take so much stuff out just to reach it and even then it felt impossible to do because of the stupid intake manifold!

um, I think your cold air idle valve might be out of adjustment. Well, according to honda it's not adjustable, but it is actually, you have to take it off and remove the cover off the back 2 phillips/8mm screws and turn the white outer ring in clockwise around the metal plunger thing in the middle. Every car I've ever looked at this thing was loose, and could use some tightening anyway. The valve is underneath your throttle body, not sure about the gsr's becasue they'e *** backwards, but it's there somewhere, it's ususally held on my 3 10mm bolts to the throttle body.
