Default obd 0 codes

Hey I am getting 16 quick flashes in a row. Is that code 16 cause i thought code 16 would be one long flash and six quick flashes.

long flash = 10
that's how I understood it too. You sure it's 16 short flashes and not separate codes?

No, it is flashing 16 times in a row. It kind of makes sence that I would be throwing a code 16 because when my car died, it really felt like i ran out of gas even though there was almost havlf a tank cause 16 is injectors

OBD0 or Pre OBD cars flash 16 times for code 16, but only certain ECUs. Mine will flash 20 times for code 20.

Look in the FAQ, there is a link to honda diagrams on how to trouble shoot that code. It's more then likely a failing main relay or a bad signal from the injectors.

ok well here is the deal. I just bout this car and it was not running. I put a new head gasket and new head and it ran fine. then i started hearing a loud ticking from the head . I was driving and then it died. It felt like a ran out of gas. Put some more gas in it and it ran for a while longer.

Now, it will start but when i press the gass nothing hanppens. It seams to suck in air but that is it when i press the gas. This is a 90 dx hatcback. Throwing codes 4, 6, and 16
