The negotiations are in course for some time. The Japanese house sees in the brand varesino, a name of large prestige and story and is interested to the possibility of to acquire it the brand. The will of Honda, in the case the agreement of purchase went in port, is that of to be able to line up already from the next Championship MotoGP, a movement MV.
The Team to which verrebbe given the task of making begin MV Agusta has been that of Kenny Roberts. The engine 800 Honda has it already ready obviously, and the times to arange a loom, leaving from the basic KR or same Honda there are certainly.
From the song its the Dorna the whose summits are at knowledge of the possible one agreement, sees the thing with large interest and would give its entire support. The negotiations are in course, for now all does to think that the possibility of to carry out an agreement there be and not only men Honda took contact with the seat MV but the same Kenny Roberts last week had a meeting with the present property of the brand varesino.
They await themselves the developments and for an official confirmation will be necessary to wait for likely until yearend. </TD></TR></TABLE>

On the positive(?) side of things...
Honda had epic battles with MV in the 60's. Honda have always been (IMO) the most innovative of the big four Japanese manufacturers, 125cc Five cylinder racer, Six cylinder 250 and 297. I don't think it would be a COMPLETLY bad thing if they were to buy MV. It would guarantee a bright future for the marque and the R & D funding they could bring to develop future models is not to be sniffed at. I don't think we would be looking at a Fireblade inspired F4 in the future either. But as far as R&D funding goes...it could be a good thing....</TD></TR></TABLE>

How about we just ban you anyway
The small, high end companies often have a hard time trying to stay afloat. I hate how people think just because another company buys a company they think everything is going to change. Fiat bought most of Ferrari and its not like we see cheap $30k ferraris now.

im not going to lie though, if Honda bought Ducati and had a full line of Twins and I4s with a Race homologated V3 and V5 sprinkled in, i would be in Heaven.
Damn, heaven is gonna kick ***.
