Default MSD removal process??

Hello Kiddos, I just decided to yank the MSD setup on my Integra. It is a MSD 6a, with an external coil blaster(the crappy one). My boy installed it previously.

I don't think I need it, I am runnng an NA LSVTEC 2.0 setup. I am runny B16 Del Sol Cams, so I am not running with any extra need for fuel.

My concerns come in with timing. I know how to remove the damn thing, but I am not sure what it took to install in the first place(meaning: do I need to readjust timing?) Or can I just yank the damn thing off and Re-install the stock ignition coil.

What do you gentleman think about this situation.
What precautions do I need to take and what do I have to be careful about?

Any response would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you

It might almost be easier having a second dizzy to replace the whole thing,
and not going through the fuss with putting pieces back in your empty shell.

I was told the only thing missing, inside the dizzy is the ignition coil. I could be mistaken, I was under the impression that all you needed to do to install an MSD setup was to remove the ignition coil.

Did you suggest a new dizzy because replacing the ignition coil is hard???

you always have to cut the little terminals off the wires in the dizzy so it would probably be better to keep the external coil of the time being and just remove the MSD box

I would sell the full setup and purchase a stock distributor

Good looking out, I am just going to get a new Distributor. Do you have any ideas for my timing? I have an LSVTEC stroked out baby.

I am going to sell the MSD.
