Need help!!! Removing grey dash trim panel!
Hey guys, I have a question, How do I remove the grey trim panel thats in the front of the dash and goes around the steering wheel and around the headunit and heater controls?? I need to remove it becuase someone cut the headunit spot bigger and the cage has nothing to lock to...plus its broke! If anyone can show me a diagram or a pic or something that shows me how to get it off would be great!!
Thanks!!!
Thanks!!!
sounds like you are talking about an eg civic. if that is the case you need to remove your dash. it is held in by bunch of screw which are a pain to get to with the dash installed.
it has screws going straight into the back all the way around it. by yourself a skew driver, remove all the lower dash panels and have at it.
Go to a Honda dealer and get them to print you out an "exploded" view of the mounting of the trim piece, it is on computer and will take them 30 sec. to find and print, if they charge you more the a few $$$, [if anything at all] they are ripping you off, find another dealer.
