Hows it going guys. Until recently buying a honda tuning mag i was completely unaware of this bad *** forum ive been going through hell talkin to the guys over at automotive forums. Anyway small talk aside i own a 90 ls teg with a b18a in it. I absoloutely love it first off. Ive had it a little over a year and now im just starting to buy some perf mods for it, but first id like it to be oem brand new again. There are only a handful of pet peeves that i dont like about it. One is the noise the injectors make. i read this is usual but mine tick real loud, another is my heat or ac wont blow anymore. i noticed this a couple of months ago, the back light in the dash behind the ac just sort of dimmed out. when i put it on the highest speed my engine rpms adjust like its blowing but nothing, could this be the actual motor or a fuse or a resistor. any help would be awesome thanx again guys.

 

well if your into any type of racing then just rip out you a/c you dont need it anyways. BUt the teg should rip if you build it up. good luck with it

 

I agree with the ac jsut take it out. It might be freon or have a leak...Welcome to the honda communtiy

if the heat wont blow also then it has nothing to do with the ac system or freon.

Could be a few things why your blower motor isnt working. I would pull out a test light and a DVM and check power at the connector for the blower motor and start to trace the problem. If all power checks out then your blower motor is probably bad. If the power stops at the switch then that switch that you said dimmed is probably the culprit. But before you get too into it check all fuses first.

 

Thanx a million for all of the advice. i was thinking originally to yank the a.c compressor out. It takes what? 5to10 horses to run and on top of that it causes more stress on crank correct?
