5.8 quarts in the engine total.
to change is 4.6 quarts with the filter.

Correct...I found out when I took my car in, the oil change guys didn't know because they had never done one and I didnt have the manual in the car, so I had to call the stealership and ask...4.6 FTW!

 

i buy 5 quarts and pour about 3/4s of the 5th bottle in.

 

5.8 quarts in the engine total.
4.6 quarts in an oil change with filter.

So where do the extra 1.2 quarts stay when you change the oil?
