Napa axles SUCK!! ONE DAY , driven about 10-15 MILES and Greease shoots everywhere?
So i just wasted ~130$ on 2 brand new remanfac napa axles on my Motor while i was doing motor swap wanted to get new axles.. so i drive it to gas station, then to a friends house to get injectors checked see why they were making a bit loud noise.. then next day i look at my car, i see greease everywhere on my driver side.. WTF i barely ewnt like 15 miles and THIS IS RESULTS of my AXLE??? WTF i look at cv boots they arnt torn but how da fck greease is everywhere already?!?!?! im riding on Megan racing suspension street . yes its lowered all the way, but how da fck greease starts shooting everywhere already... ARGH
That should be covered under warranty. Go get your money back and by some axles straight from Honda.

yeah, probably will. but is that a defect if it shoots greease everywhere? or is it because my car is lowered

If the Boot was still there where did the Greese Come from? Was the Boot Torn maybe one of the Metal clips that seals the end came off.
are you sure its grease and not tranny fluid? i have two friends that have had their napa axles slip out of their tranny while driving. the clips on the ends of the axles that go into the tranny weren't big enough to do anything. of course, both trannies were emptied of their fluid when the axles came out
Napa axles ftw. My friend with his SOHC turbo EJ coupe broke his axles at the track while running on STREET TIRES!

i am 99.9% sure it is greease. it is THICK, GREY, and STCKY THICK.

No, they are from CCT, the same company that AutoZone sells for reman. axles.
I myself went through 4 sets (1 from AutoZone, 3 from NAPA) before finally getting a pair that did not make nasty vibration during acceleration, and were the correct length.

I'm pretty sure auto and manual Integras use the same axles.

the only difference is the presence of the toothed ring on the outer joint for the ABS sensor. You can use an ABS axle on a non-ABS car (but not vice-versa of course).

most of the time those remans are garbage and will take a **** on you right away.
having to change out axles because the remans found at the parts store were total crap FTL.
i have never had good luck with them. just go get your money back and get some oem ones.
good luck

Sometimes you get lucky. I did have to go through 3 sets of reman's before I got a good set, but the good set has been on my car over 2 years now and is doing fine.

i am glad/surprised to someone actually got a set that was good! the same thing happened to me with a brake mc. i went through 2 remans before i got one that didnt leak after a week.
i just sucks that you have to go through the rigmarole of changing axles all the time until you get lucky with one that actually works. that **** sucks.
it should be the other way around. i just dont have the time to devote to something like that anymore. i like to get it done right the first time.

Exactly. I gave up on the stock bindings. Now when I buy them (from autozone; lifetime warrany even on a 250ft/trq build) I just cut off the bindings that they come with and buy some beefer ones; its like $12.00 after tax.
Even some of the higher staged axels do this. Its a common problem.
