Default ECU + EGR problem/question, help

well, heres the low down.

i have a 90 CRX with a 91 B18A1 swap, and a 37820-PR4-XXX ecu. i am throwing code 12 which is an EGR problem. come to find out, i don't have an egr, or at least i cannot find it for the life of me.

i know that only AUTOMATIC 90-93 Integras came with EGRs, and not the 5 speed. i am guessing the person who did the swap put a PR4 ecu on the car that was from an automatic 92 integra.

unless i am just losing my mind, the EGR is supposed to be right under the throttle body on the intake runner number 1, correct?

please help as i am thinking if i have no EGR and an automatic PR4, i can just grab a 5 speed manual PR4 thus removing code 12 and my annoying CEL.

thanks in advance.

That "XXX" is the most freakin important part of finding out what ecu you have.

37820-PR4-A51 is the exact model of the ecu.

so the A51 means it's an auto?
