94 accord- Found oil in cylinder 2 after changing spark plug...
There was a bit of oil in the clylinder where you get at the spark plug ,There wasn't that much and it wasn't on the end contacts but seem to be around the botttom of the plug. I tried to soak up as much as possible and then replaced with a brand new one. Is this really a bad thing? i think i had a pevios car that had a similar problem.
It started and drives fine but is there a major problem would that be the reason my CEL is on(i checked for trouble code by jumping the connector-i didn't get any conclusive results because i got no flashes from th e engine light th light just stayed on) and would that have an effect on the amount of CO2 being emmitted (i just failed a local Air quality test due to high CO2 readings)

The oil leak wouldnt cause the emissions issue. If you clean all of the oil out of that cylinder and then it comes back after driving then you need to change the valve cover gasket and the gaskets around each cylinder. That can be purchased for around 30$.
As for emissions I don't know. Very often it is the o2 sensor as the culprit when a CEL light is on.

Omygosh, oil in the plug tube?!?!
The only thing you can do now is sell me the car for $500.
I'll replace the valve cover gasket and the sparkplug tube seals.
As far as the CEL you didn't say in your other post the light was on solid with no blinks, clean and tighten the ground at the T-stat housing for starters.
