I swapped my transmission, all was well while I was listening to the stereo resetting all my setting on the cd oplayer, and then I crank the car over and all I get is a click. I checked all engine grounds and everything looks fine. I checked the under hood fuse box and no fuses are blown..

what coudl this problem be? it seems like the battery is dead, but I checked the power wire to the starter and there is power going to it as well as everything else I test.

coudl it be my ignition switch or the relay?

 

I had the same thing happen, at least it sounds like it. Hopefully this will fix ur problem, this sounds very familiar to my problem, turn the car over and just a click, then nothing... I found out my problem was my positive battery terminal was corroded, also had alot of acid build up, if u can get a friend, get him to turn the car over while u look inside the ending bay, cause I could actually see the spark and snap from the terminal. Hope this helps, if not keep asking.

 

well, the weirdest thing happened to me.. I was checking some fuses with a test light under the dash to see if they were geting any power, and no power.. i got pissed, went inside, watched a movie, went grocery shopping, and came upstairs to go on the computer and I saw a light shining out back. through the window.. i stop running up the stairs, look out the window, my headlights are corner lights are on.... wtf? I'm guesing my battery was low and trying to crank it sucked all the juice out, but why woudl it random;y come on out of nowhere without being charged?

 

So ur headlights were on without turning them on, U sure u didn't leave the switch on? Check the voltage of ur battery with a multimeter, make sure it's close to 12v, u might wanna charge it too. If u can, try and find out where the click is coming from when u turn the car over.
