Default b18 swap question

ok i have a b16 tranny i bought a while ago i swapped it in with the b18 and the speedo cable is attached to the tranny and i can't pull it off. i was thinking unplugging the speedo cable from behind the guage cluster. how hard is it to pull it out? do i have to take the dash out? THANK YOU VERY MUCH HONDA-TECH

Default Re: b18 swap question (racingcrx)

its simple,,no you dont have to take the whole dash out...all you need to do this is a phillips screwdriver...Remove the cluster hood,,then you'll see the speedo cable in the back on the far right of the cluster (you cant miss it) its held in with a clip ,so just push the clip and pull and it comes right out.

oh dont forget to unplug anything electrical on the cluster hood,so you dont rip it when you take it off...
