i have a stock 2000 ITR and ran 14.86 @ 97.something mph i believe in 100+ degree weather. Is that a decent time?

yes that is a good time. I was going to run my car tonight but i didn't.

thats only a select few stock Rs that hit low 14's anywhere from 14.4-15 is the usual for stock R's man. You can prolly run a bit lower with a little more experience and better driving

 

i have a few friends who would get 14.8/14.9 in there bone stock gsr's

 

i ran a 15 flat @92 mph in 5000 ft elevation

Sounds good, I recently ran my stock R up here in Colorado. I hit 15.9 mostly @87mph. The altitude is about 4900ft, does my time sound about right??

 

my 98 runs 14.3s with only a comptech axle back and koni yellows

 

That trap speed is excellent. With a good launch you should be able to get into the VERY low 14's.

BTW is it BONE stock?

I'd love to see that. Im in FL, so elevation is on my side and after intake and exhaust I still was only able to get 14.9's in a GS-R. FWIW I run 14.4 in a stock ITR so it's not lack of experience. I could get my stock GS-R down to about 15.3ish range with 2.1 60's
