Whats the record for a FULL interior fwd car With AC and ALL Zero weight reductions 2800-3200 lbs with driver?
Anyone Know?

 

As an example we are running 11.38 at 132.78 (only 2 passes so far) in a 3082lb car (with driver).

 

so its not a real street car if it doesnt have A/C?

 

does it still weigh in the bracket of 2800 to 3200 with driver? and most people have A/C and PS in a daily driver

 

Iono what your talking 2800 - 3000 lbs? what honda wieghs that much. And what do you think Turbo Street is? is a street class.. street legal cars. doesnt matter if you have p/s or a/c. to pass as a street car..
my buddy drove his coupe to the track. put slicks on ran 10.4 @ 141 and drove back home.. full interior, coupe!

A SFWD is purpose built race car that fits street class rules.. I am looking for unmolested (weight wise) preludes/tegs/eclipse etc that are similar in weight for a comparision.. I could bolt our motor in a light weight base model and run faster..
I did'nt mean to psi off the hatch owners of the world. You guys are real street cars also just a different weight bracket.

are you sure nothing has been removed from that car? i find it weird that my full interior and almost no gas srt4 weighs more than your caged srt4, and so does our shop car.

 

and if you want to get technical about the street car thing, then the pass cant be done on slicks because a street car sint driven on slicks... a car with no car is against the law and not a street car either...

at the end of the day any car that is driven, or can safely be driven on the street is a street car.

and our full interior, 100% full weight and probably extra srt4 went 10.7

The only things taking out was the spare/jack and kicker sub woofer. Maybe moroso's scale was off.. dunno. I weighed about 50 srt at nationals and they where all about 2830-70

mine was 2990 without me in it, and pablos was 31xx with him in it on diffrent days at moroso. both no sunroof not kicker.


no spare or jack? what happens if your street car gets a flat???

None yet but I've only made two passes in the car so far.. Fastest SRT will be in the Rage camp..

I just wanted some info, but I guess no one know's what the fastest honda is.. isn't there a prelude that runs 10.40's? or a teg with full interior that runs that fast? Anyone run 9.xx's yet in full factory weight car yet.

Nah the sfwd car would be a first gen neon. Thats the only way to get to 2400lbs to be able to compete with you guys there..

So let me get this right,u got a neon it ran ok and u come on here looking to see if it was faster than any full weigh honda.....i guess u need to try and make your self feel good cause your car is fat hence the reason u asked for 28-3200lb cars...most hondas dont weigh that unless the are 4dr and of the family type

hence why my srt4 is stock again and i joined the winning team!

 

Maybe you'll respect me more when your doing the chasing.. Actually why gti are you so worried about it your not a lujan employee are you? I have been in this game for 11 years and raced the first domestic car in a import event ever (ID Drag Wars). I gave Scott Mohler his big break into the pro's and did it well too, with runner up championships in our first (rookie) year.. But this is a honda forum so I'll get off my soap box, I only came in here for some info..
