best intake for b18c1?

Default best intake for b18c1?

can someone tell me which intake would be best? before i had a civic so Im new with gsr's. I currently am running the b18c1 with dc headers, skunk2 throttle body, msd, and new pistons. so if any of that makes a difference idk but thanks. and when i say which intake i dont just mean cai vs sri iwanna know what brand and version too. thanks alot

my friend did dyno test on all kind of intakes and he lost power with ebay intake and gained 6hp off iceman cool air intake. Those are discontinued, but im sure you can find one on the marketplace.

other then that aem is pretty good.

AEM/Injen/ anything with a CARB sticker. Thats the disadvantage of living in cali.

since ur in cali... anything wit a carb sticker would do...unless u want power there is a shop down in livermore that custom intakes...other than that i say u get comptech wit the ice box got mines for cheap

thanks for the good info guys. i have heard things like there is a possible 2-3 hp gain with cai than with short ram so with headers puttin out a little more heat should i just go with cai?

and yea cali sucks when it comes to carb

No. After seeing the carnage of several people blowing rods through the sides of their blocks when they hydrolocked, CAI is not a good idea.

true the password jdm intake is more sufficent but around here at the bay area cops are non stopping pullin people over even if they juss look suspicious...other day they gave my friend a state ref and he drives a automatic db8 juss for open box stock intake...but really if u want power go wit the whale *****...but if u want carb there is alot of options out there

Yeah. A couple of guys on from another forum had huge holes put in the side of their block when they hydrolocked. It wasn't a pretty sight. Luckily, they were d-series motors, so it wasn't all bad.

Interesting.

Being that automatic DB8's were never sold in America, he must have imported it. What made him import an automatic GSR instead of another type of Integra?

I looked at that one site that made the lab testing between all the intakes, but are those number still true for other motors like ITR or GSR?

haha whoops typo not db8 but juss a regular four door integra...cops around san jose..pull anyone over for anything... last time i got pulled over juss cuz my stock muffler was shiny
