Default Legit check on this 98 ITR. Thinking to buy

Hey all HT ITR owners, can you please identify if this 98 ITR is legit, i also has the vin for it:JH4DC2311WS004465. I know a few things that you need to look for:

1.check green vin on tranny,
2.LSD tag on tranny(where is it located?)
3.a date on the tranny?(where is it located?)
4. some sort of model or number on the headers? (located?)
4.Motor: B18C5
6.interior
7.5 lug
5.what else can i do to make sure the ITR is legit? I kno the pictures are not great, but can you guys find something fishy just looking at these?
6.can you guys see the 2 sticker on the left side of the trunk? i know one say honda, but what's the one next to it? integra?

look under the rear bumper towards the gas tank, if its a real R it will have extra sheet metal bracing.

Just check the VIN.. If it reads: JH4DC231------ its a R, or atleast a chassis of one.
After the DC2 there should be the number 31. All ITR's read this way, and no other model DC2 does..

yea, but the guy could of taken out and switch the itr headers, pipping and tranny, that's why im asking identification hints for all the major parts to identify a real R

This isn't much help on your main question, but the small sticker next to acura/honda emblem looks like it is a dealer sticker.

Just want a clean and smooth deal, i been working hard and saving for years for an ITR. I don't want to mess up by not being careful. The start of this post has completely no offense on the seller. I love the car and serious about buying it, that's why I am careful. All i wanted is get my questions answered; not unnesscary comments. I have no shame starting this post, so I wouldn't care if the seller is reading this, i know he would understand.

base model RS didn't have sunroof either. The Vin looks to be a dc2.

I think it is a good thing that you are curious to know what makes a Type R legit. I'm not trying to be an ******* or anything, but do some research on telling a real R's apart from fake R's. Once you find this out, you discover how stupid and costly it is to convert to a type R based off a none ITR shell.

I list off some things off the top of my head:
ITR BADGE NUMBER ON ARMREST!!!!!
No sunroof(as stated above)
5 lug (you stated that)
side modding
ITR sub-frame(as stated above)

you can kinda see it in this picture. the bar going across the bottom(itr only thing)
No Cruise control (wish i had it for some of the IL to KY trips)

ITR=no cruz

Friend's GS-R= has Cruz= black box on mid right

anyways its late and this is all i can think of right now, so i hope this helps

Thanks, those pictures actually help. With extra info that this R had been on HT and proven legit then i am assuming is a good to go R. I want to say thank you to everyone for helping! Hey BlueR, hopfully i will be joining the Team CW 98 haha. All i have to take care of is the money
