Ok so as today i installed my comptech short shifter adapter i found out
that the lever ball is cracked..

i was wondering if it gets worst will i not be able to shift at all and the shifter lever stick
come out...

DOES ANYONE HAVE THE OEM shifter lever + lever ball FOR SALE ?

 

Was it cracked when you got it? If so send that sheit back.

But yes, to awnser your question, I have an arm and ball from when I did my shifter in the EM2.

 

Just send that one back and get a revo.

 

B&M. Revo's had a bad rep for breaking on DC5s

And on EM2's too. Ive had my B&M For a while now, and wouldnt give it up for anything. Plus, it is adjustable too.

 

HELP PLEASE. RIGHT NOW my problem has nothin to do with the BM SHORT SHIFTER..

my stock spherical ball at the bottom of the shift lever broke, can i jus replace that part

 

It does not look like it. HondaAutomotiveParts.com does not show a seperate listing for it. Ill keep looking though.



EDIT: HondaPartsDeals.com doesnt show anything as well. It is all sold as one assembly.

 

People are shifting way to hard and breaking those revo's. I raced the wheels off mine for 2 years and never had any problem.

Back on track....the peice you need is the whole #1. Sooooo......you can get a new OEM one or get the revo. Those are your only options. Instead of paying for a new OEM and keeping the short shifter, you could save some money and just get one unit that takes care of both your needs.

 

to be honest i made my own short shifter i moved the bracket on the shaft up on 1inch or so and had a bit of the throws shorter but i jus did it the cheap *** way and cut 1inch out the top and cut the bracket and moved it up and welded it back in place if anyone wants to see pictures ill take the shifter out and take some pics jus email me at jdmtypernick@yahoo.com
