Okay here is something new that i have just experienced.
car idles fine, only one code which is 20. (89 ecu on a 90)
when i hit the throttle it redlines like at 3-4k rpm.
i am pretty sure i have the vaccuums right, but either way can anyone post a pic of the map, etc.
Anyother ideas?
d15b8 with everything obdo , and si intake manifold
bump for a good beer

It's going into limp mode. When something is wrong that the computer senses, it reverts to limp mode. Basically runs extra rich, lowers fuel cut to 3,000 rpm, and essentially tries to preserve the motor because it can't figure out what is going on. This is probably attributable to your CEL.
The weird thing is that your code 20 is Electronic Load Detector. This rarely goes bad, and is just a module that bumps up the idle speed if you have accessories running (AC, headlights, etc.) to keep up with the demand from the alternator.
Pull the hazard fuse for 30seconds, then restart the car and see what happens. It may just need to be reset to take it out of limp mode.
