Default Tricky Swap Help - Hydro tranny in 89 CRX

Alright.... earlier this year i picked up a 2000 SIR engine , tranny, linkage, and clutch pedal with resevoir and cylinder. Came with some axles and other stuff too. Oh yeah... P28 ecu. Ive been trying to find a deal on a decent shell and I was lucky enough to find a 1990 CRX for $100 last week. Ive already mounted the hydraulic clutch pedal and I just started looking for mounts and realized that nobody makes mounts for a hydro tranny without including that cable to hydro conversion thing. I've done swaps before but it was just replacing the stock motor so this is all kindof new to me. Im just wondering if the only difference between the hydraulic mount kits and the cable mount kits is that conversion bracket. Alot of people have told me to just switch the tranny with a cable one but im kind of dead set on a hydraulic transmission right now.

Another thing I was also wondering about is the wiring. From what I understand the computer i got with it is a chipped OBD1 ecu from a SI. Does this mean that I can just buy a OBD1 to OBD0 adapter or have i got it backwards? I realize im probably gonna have to run wires for VTEC and convert some other stuff on the engine harness but im pretty good with that so im not to worried.

Im missing the bracket off of the tranny fro the rear mount and I was told that I could use one off of a 90 - 93 integra aslong as its a GSR. Would it be different if I were to take the bracket off of a LS tranny from the same year?

Other than that everything seems to be going pretty good. Im just a little confused because everywhere i look everyone seems to just say not to go with a hydraulic tranny or they just say to buy the older and cheaper b16. Hopefully you guys can help me out and give me astraight answer ASAP because JRP is having a midnight madness sale tonight

Well I picked up some Avid racing mounts and axles. After a bit more reading I found out that I just need to get the rear tranny mounting bracket and the driver side mounting bracket off of a 90 - 93 integra. I think I can monster the shift linkage and cut it down a bit shorter. Im a descent welder so hopefully I can figure something out. I guess the only thing left is the wiring. If anyone has some diagrams on how to do this yourself it would be greatly appreciated.

One last thing... should the axles i picked up be meant for the intermediate shaft still on the motor or should I start worrying about grabing one of those from an integra too?

As for the wiring, you have 2 options

1. OBD-0

You will need to get a couple things.

1. OBD-0 distributor
2. OBD-0 ECU
3. Maybe OBD-0 Injectors (i think you can run obd-1 injectors)
4. If you run OBD-0 Injectors, you will need to connect them to the
resistor box.
5. Oxygen Sensor ( 1 wire )

As for the wiring, its pretty easy.

VTEC SOLENOID - GREEN - A8 on ECU
VTEC PRESSURE - BLUE - B5
BLACK - GROUND

2. OBD-1

You will need the following

1. OBD-0 TO OBD-1 CONVERSION HARNESS
2. Oxygen Sensor ( 4 wire )

As for the wiring

VTEC SOLENOID - GREEN - A4 on ECU
VTEC PRESSURE - BLUE - D6 on ECU
- BLACK - GROUND
