WHAT NEXT
ok i just recently bought a 96 GSR. it has full-catback,header,CAI,underdrive pully, stage 2 clutch, lightweight flywheel, short shifter. slammed on some slipstreams. i have 3 questions. whats a good guestimate of my hp right now, what do you think it should hit in the 1/4. and LAST AND MOST IMPORTANT. what performance wise should i do next... not as far as turbo yet and i do have an edelbrock nitrous kit from my cavalier but idk if i really wanna put it on the teg and stress the motor like that just yet. basically if you were in my position what performance would you do next... the more mods the better idea ill have... thanks for the advice
well i would probably search, using the honda-tech search button, and find a similar setup that has bound to be posted. secondly you will probably run around a 15 somthing , but you should really just run it and find out. and thirdly i would learn how to drive the car properly. get in some good track time and figure out what u really want from your car from there.
What suspension do you have with what spring rates?
If you have an ok suspension setup i would consider getting something better. Not only will the car handle better, ride better, but it will also help make you a quicker as well.
What kind of brake pads are you using, i would consider getting some good pads as well?
What tires are you using? Again this will help you handle better, accelerate and brake better as well.
What are your future goals for the car; turbo or NA, Road Race, Auto-X, Drag, what kind of budget are we looking at as well.

I'd say that maybe you're putting down 155-160 hp at the wheels but remember there is a statisical variance in the horsepower ratings from car to car, within the same model. Also, you must remember that the quarter mile time isn't a very accurate indication of the cars performance if you want to compare with other cars since different track conditions make a huugeee difference. With that being said, the average time you might expect to see would be low 15 seconds.
I wouldn't try to guess HP or times, Just dyno it and run it. That way you will know for sure.
Also you need to be more specific, NA, boost? What are your future goals?

wat do u want to spend ur cash on? hp or handling? hp... then i would go with some cams. handling... go full coilovers and upgraded rear sway bar. u would have A LOT of fun with coilovers and sway bar. i personally would do suspension.
