I found a guy who has a guy a ef9 complete front end conversion with the b16 and everything in tact, and he has the every thing I need to do a right hand drive conversion still attached to the clip. But I have a 89 crx and wasn't sure if the ef9 would work together or not, cause the crx is ef8, right?

 

I thought I would have an answer by now. Come on guys, someone has to know

 

yes it will work if you use the fire wall. i dont know if the rear cross member is the same or not tho either

 

I have done 2 succesful rhd conversions on eg's there shouldn't be much of a diference. Things you will need firewall, master cylinder and lines, whole rack and pinion, uncut wiring harness it is rare to find a whople uncut jdm wireharness, All pedals the jdm pedals have the clearence for the steering column, steering column you will also need a piece of the car were the steering column goes bolted onto, and dash. I hope I'm not forgetting anything. also you do not need the whole firewall just the jdm driver side I'll draw you some pics since I do not have a scanner.

The first hole on the farleft is were the wiring goes through, to the upright is the throttle cable, below is the master cylinder, below that is whre the rack and pinion goes through.I dont know how the clutch cable works in with the picture it shold be somewhere next to the master cylinder i know that for a fact. Just cut out that piece fromyour old fire wall and weld the jdm over it. Make sure the jdm fire wall is were it should be.

Another thing it is very hard to match up the usdm fuel pump, tail lights wires cause the wire colors don't match up. We'll thats the problem that we got with the 2nd eg I did don't know if you'll have that problemo.
