should i sell???
I have an 88 crx dx with 214,*** miles on it. It has, possibly, one of the worst bodies ever, however it runs like a champ (or a good as a d15 can run). I originally bought the car for $350 and replaced the broken window for $120. After having a title dilema, i just got it registered it today.
When driving the rex home from work, some people in a riced out hatch (turns out it has a b16 with bolt ons) pull me over asking me if i would sell my car. ends up they are offering $800 by tomarrow.
while writing this, my friend called and he said that there was an old school sedan for sale. the reason i dont want to sell my crx (other than it being a crx
) is because i need a car to get me through winter. im selling my integra soon, and my hatch is a "no no" for wisconsins harsh winter, so im going to need a winter beater. im gonna talk to the guy with the sedan tomarrow and see if i can work out a deal. if i can pick it up for $300-$400 bucks, then i think ill sell the crx
.
the crx has missing interior (the essentials are all there), no radio/speakers, a horrible bondo/primer job. getto hood latch
, cracked back bumper (still in one piece), slipping clutch, cracking axles, broken track for the driver window, and a red/white interior paint job that the guy started before i bought the rex
.
when they were checking out the car i was pointing out everything that was wrong, hoping that they would walk away so i wouldn't have to be face with this though decision. But they are still offering $800 and i dont know what i should do.
if i can pick up that sedan for cheap, i say sell
if i cant make a deal, then i think ill keep the crx.
what do you guys think i should do??
