Default Mugen RNR copies??

Just wondering if anyone has any of the RNR copies or knows anything about them. Im looking for a black wheel, and if I can find these RNR copies in black with the red stripe, I will get them. If I cant.. then I suppose I too will be rollin' on some Rotas, like the rest of this board

somebody let me know if they got any info on these wheels (i.e. weight, colors, sizes, etc..)

thanks in advance

Jp

i beg to differ, there another topic with a side by side illustration and they look exactly the same, just paint them black and paint the red strip with an artists brush or have someone else do it

Well if that's the case you would also think the mugen RNR were ugly as well. Or are you just bashing 'cause they are made by tenzo?

Those holes aren't even symetrical with the spoke pattern, it looks awful. Of course the wheel design is cool, but the lug pattern ruins it.

wtf? bashing? yes i think real RnRs look like crap on most cars. i do think they look very good on 92-95 hatchs though. i don't think i was bashing anything. unless stating an opnion that less than adulation is bashing. so get a grip.

Simma down.... I was stating that most people on this board "bash" anything that isn't "jdm" or a "real" part. Sorry if it seems as though i was attacking you. I too think they look kinda funny on certain cars, just because they're Mugen doesn't mean they look good. Anyway, i'm cool if you're cool! LAter...

I think they look close well atleast the one pieces do, but I think they run those allen wrench type lugs The ones that strip, unlike a real RNR. I like the RNR a lot, but I was definitely sad when I saw them at SEMA last year. Not a fan of tenzo, but atleast they copied a nice wheel (if that means anything).

the tenzo r rims arent a exact copy of the mugen rnr...tenzo r didnt put as much rnd as mugen did....tenzo r ..designed the ninja star around the bolt pattern different..i noticed there isnt as much detail..the real mugen rnr has a detailed flared ninja star......so atleast its not a identical copy...this is a good thing for fellow mugen rnr owners..i think its a booty copy..im not a knock off hater...i have a set of rota slip streams and love em...i just think this knock off iss straight whack...with a capital W

I don't own a set of RnR's but I was told they are cast as well. Only the newer Mugens (MF8's and MF10's) are forged.

I have owned 3 sets of RNR's.. they are all forged press processed aluminum and weigh a total of 11.5lbs with A032's mounted and roughly 8lbs without tires.
