Mugen 26mm Anti Sway bars
Anyone know if the Mugen 26mm Sway bars will fit on a GSR integra. I am going to put the stocks back on, and a friend of mine with a GSR would like them. I just don't know if they will fit.

Yup, not a good idea at all w/o some reinforcement. I guess instead you can send me the 26mm rear.

Well, I am the poster child of fitting Mugen ITR parts onto a GSR. I have the 26mm bar with the Comptech tiebar/brace. You can use the factory D brackets with the Mugen bushings, HOWEVER the mounting holes for the D brackets will need to be elongated because the mounting holes in the tiebar are closer together.
the big question here is what is your friends intention for the swaybar?
if he is going to track his car he should fallow Comp97GSR advice. great.
if its just to say he has it on the car for show. waste
Thats just my opinion

What spring rates are you intending to use with the 26mm bar? Stock GSR rates? Are you using an aftermarket suspension? Does the GSR have an aftermarket LSD installed?
If it's stock suspension- don't even bother - your ride quality will go to ****.

I am also interested in this as I just busted to head off of the endlink bolt on my GSR, was thinking of changing the whole thing out while I was down there.
I have d2 coilovers as well as I do acasionally track my car.

So what is your question exactly? If you are interested in the 26mm bar I said previously that I currently have one on a GSR.

never seen a DC or EG with a ripped subframe with good coilovers, only EK's
the Mugen 26mm RSB is the **** from what I hear

That's not true.... Non-type R chassis already have enough problem with STOCK ITR rear sway. Now with Mugen 26mm, it would just get worse. I'm sure I've seen pictures here on HT on torn subframe resulted from stock ITR rear bar.
Your statement is only true when the suspension has super stiff spring rates, making the bar less likely to engage.

If mine ever pulls out, the simple solution is replace with one from an R.

I think a-spec racing makes a brace which will allow you to use this swaybar without fear of tearouts...

nope, I'm going to keep them for now I guess. Showed my friend this thread, and looks like even though he can get them to fit, it will not be right for his GSR.
