what ecu and what o2 sensor do i use?? jdm d15b

alright well i have a jdm d15b swap in my ek. currently i have a chippd p28 and a 4wire o2 sensor and have no CEL. i did some research and found out im supposd to use the p08 ecu and a 1wire o2 sensor? is this true? if so, where can i buy the ecu at?

Well, if you are using a chipped P28 with the P08 basemap and 4-wire O2 sensor, you should be fine. The P28 looks for the 4-wire while the P08 looks for the 1-wire.

You might be able to find the P08 on eBay and you will need to use a 92-95 Civic CX O2 sensor. But like I said, why change anything when your car is already running fine.

because i heard u could only hit the 3stagevtec if u run the p08. idont know if thats tru but i remember readin it somewhere on someones thread.

Only certain D15b's came with the three stage vtec.

if you are running the 3stage vtec (w/ 2 vtec solenoids) neither ecu is correct, and you wont go into lean burn, but will have vtec. the 3stage vtec is OBD2 and uses an OBD2 ecu (have fun finding that). if you have no codes leave it alone.
